Here are two videos on getting the perfect basketball shooting arc and increasing your shooting range.

The key to getting a great arc is the angle of release. To do this, finish your shot release with your elbow above your eye line to help achieve a 45 degree arc.

The keys to increasing your shooting range are to keep your heels up, remember the triple extension (ankles, knees, hips), delay your set point, and turn your feet slightly.
