A person’s height can be an advantage in volleyball because it influences their vertical reach. There are two ways to increase your vertical reach: growing taller or jumping higher. As much as you may have tried to grow taller in your youth, all of us stop growing at some point. So, if you want to continue to compete harder and reach higher, we will have to rely on jumping higher.
