Although the league is generally a self-officiating league, the program allows for officials during the season-ending Championship Tournament. Awards are provided to each Tier Champion.”

Winnipeg Coed Volleyball League

“Established in 1990, the WCVL is an independent, not for profit, volunteer based organization. As of 2016, the WCVL has become the largest volleyball league in Canada. The League is comprised of 17 Tiers, each consisting of 8 adult teams. That gives a total of 136 teams!!! We welcome all skill levels, from recreational to highly competitive. Matches are played Sundays between 9:00AM and 10:00PM from September until April.”

“The Winnipeg Men’s Volleyball League (WMVL) had its beginnings in 1957…The league operates as a non-profit organization and is registered with and utilizes the support services of Manitoba Volleyball.” WMVL has a 24 match schedule with 9 tiers consisting of approximately 8 teams per tier. All matches are officiated by members of the Manitoba Volleyball Officials Association (MVOA).

The BVC offers women’s and coed 4’s leagues. There are 8-9 weeks of round robin followed by 1-2 weeks of playoffs. Teams have 2 scheduled games per night. Games are self-officiated.
