Vancouver Quidditch League

Have you heard of quidditch? Yes, it is the sport that was played in the fictional Harry Potter series.

What you may not know, is that it is also a real life sport! The real life adaptation of quidditch is very similar to the one seen in Harry Potter.

A team consists of 1 Keeper, 3 Chasers, 2 Beaters, and 1 Seeker playing on the pitch at any given time. The goal is to score more points than the opposing team by the end of the game. For more info on quidditch rules, check out Quidditch Canada’s website on How to Play.

If you live in Vancouver and are interested in checking out the sport, the Vancouver Quidditch League is always looking for more players. They host a quidditch league in the summer (see events). During the fall and winter, other quidditch leagues are hosted by Quidditch Canada.
